Treul Kieswerk is a prominent quarry located in Upper Austria.

For two years in 2002 and 2003
I documented the fragile relationship between this very environmentally conscious industry and the landscape which they inhabit, work and replenish. Portraits, still-lives and landscapes make up a body of work consisting of over 70 images.
