A road trip in 2000 to visit and document the prominent “Land Art” sites of the 1970’s.

Accompanied by the curator Guenter Mayer and the video artist Elisabeth Woerndl, I set out to make a photographic homage about the marking, measuring and celebration of the western American landscape. Most of the images have found their way into the on-going series “Maps and Legends”

The exhibition “Land Art usw.” was shown in the Kunstforum Innsbruck and the Galerie der Stadt Wels, Upper Austria. A publication of the same title can be found under “publications”.
